Claydon harrows

Claydon harrows shred the topsoil to a depth of up to 30 mm, retaining moisture and accelerating weed growth. Claydon harrows remove and destroy weeds at the germ stage, eliminating the source of food for slugs. They also reduce the slug population by destroying their nests and causing their eggs to dry out by mixing them up and exposing the wet chaff and straw to sunlight. Claydon harrows are a powerful tool for even straw distribution and stubble movement, working at speeds up to 25 km/h. They break up the melted straw, causing it to decompose more quickly. They can also be used before and after cultivation in order to level the soil surface and create a fine cultivation layer

Claydon embankments

One of the most important factors for efficient soil cultivation is its thorough compaction around the seeded area. A well-planned ride with a heavy roller set not only improves “seed-to-soil contact” but also helps to retain moisture, prevents erosion, increases spraying efficiency and reduces the number of slugs, giving the crop excellent conditions for growth. Preparing the embankments for work is simple and uncomplicated. This can be done without leaving the tractor. Three two-way control valves are required to unfold the machine. The sets are also equipped with unique Claydon boxes for transporting stones to the ends of the field or storing tools. For optimal performance, the operator should leave the central section in the floating position and the folding arms under pressure.
